Regis Cormier

Regis Cormier, age 92, of Foyer Saint-Antoine and formerly of Sainte-Marie de Kent, has passed away on Sunday January 13th, 2008 after a lengthy illness at the Foyer Saint-Antoine. Married to the late Geneva (Rogers) Cormier (1991) he was born in Sainte-Marie de Kent on June 14th, 1915 to the late Octave and the late Eulalie (née Robichaud) Cormier.

Regis is survived by two sons; Donald (Lucille) of Saint-Antoine, André (Dorice) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, one sister; Dorise Robichaud of Sainte-Marie de Kent, one brother; Zoel (Dorine) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, one granddaughter; Carole and several nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by one daughter; Angèla (1944), two sisters; Marie, Lorraine, and seven brothers; Olivier, Antoine, Lionel, Albert, Avis, Amédée, and Zéphir.

Regis was a farmer, and was employed with the Université de Moncton with the maintenance department before his retirement.

Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Tuesday January 15th from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday January 16th, from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Church, Saint-Marie de Kent on Wednesday January 16th, 2008 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
