Aurelie Maillet

Aurélie Maillet, age 94, of Résidence Beauséjour, Shediac, and formaly of Rogersville passed away after a brief illness at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital on Monday April 16th, 2007. She was the widowed of the late Dominique Doiron (1963), 2nd late Fred Richard (1982) and her 3rd husband late Fidèle Maillet (1992). Born in Rogersville on April 16, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste and the late Catherine (née Richard) Cormier.

Aurélie is survived by her three children; Shirley Albert (Eric) of Cocagne, Theresa Mazerolle (Cecil) of Halifax and Emery Doiron of Moncton, five sisters; Lorette Cormier, Elodie Goguen (Eric) both of Rogersville, Anita Wedge (René) of Miramichi, Anna Chiasson of Sainte-Foye, Qué., Elizabeth Arsenault de Montreal, one brother; Léo (Lina) of Rogersville, twenty one grandchildren, forty three great grandchildren, twelve great great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by one daughter; Julia, one brother; Edmond and one grandson; Eric.

Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday April 17th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Wednesday April 18th, at the Saint-Francois de Sale Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Rogersville from 9:30 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday April 18, at the Saint-Francois de Sale Church, Rogersville at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
