Dianna LeBlanc, 77, of Bouctouche, died accidently in Bouctouche on Saturday September 7, 2024. She was married to Lionel LeBlanc. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Alfreda (Caissie) Goguen.
Dianna was well known in the region as the comedian Zélica as part of the duo «les chicaneuse» of the Pays de la Sagouine in Bouctouche. Dianna played the role of Zélica for 27 seasons.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Lionel LeBlanc, her daughter; Janice LeBlanc (Kevin Daigle) of Rexton, Claude (Christiane) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, her three grandchildren; Véronique, Mélanie, Christal and one great grandson; Colin. She also leaves to mourn her three sisters; Dorice Gallant (late Bernie) of Moncton, Alberta Allain (Paul) of Bouctouche, Lucille Mills (late Vincent) of Saint-Antoine, her three brothers; Léo-Paul (Evie) of Dartmouth, NS, Yvon (Mongo) of Montreal, Maurice of Moncton and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one brother; Jean.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche, on Monday September 16, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday September 16, 2024 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Dianna’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT Foundation.
