Mélanie Nowlan

Mélanie Nowlan, 75, of Dixon Point, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at her residence on Friday March 8, 2024. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Lucas and the late Irène (LeBlanc) Nowlan.
She will be sadly missed by her three sisters; Thérèse Cormier (Lionel) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Stella Cormier of Shediac, Bernadette Nowlan (Omer Maillet) of Saint-Norbert, her five brothers; Adolphe (Dorice), Lawrence (Maria), John (Anna), Edouard (Geralda) with whom she was residing, Lucas (Maria) of Bouctouche and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two sisters; Marie-Anne, Sophie and three brothers; Edgar, Joseph and Marcel.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Monday March 11, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday March 11, 2024 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Mélanie’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT (Diabetes Unit).
