Marie Allain

Marie Allain, 85, of Résidence Notre-Dame du Sacré-Cœur, Dieppe and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children at the residence on Friday January 26, 2024. She was married with the late Aurèle Allain (1996). Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Régina (Bastarache) LeBlanc.
Marie will be sadly missed by her two children; Lucie Brown (Michael) of Moncton, Joseph (Diane) of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, her two grandchildren; Joël (Mireille) and Jérémie as well as one great granddaughter; Lia. She also leaves to mourn her sister, Sr Géraldine LeBlanc ndsc of Moncton and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by four sisters; Geneviève, Ida, Laudia, Délia and four brothers; Léo, Noël, Ovila and Joseph.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday January 30, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday January 30, 2024 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Marie’s memory, donations may be made to the Résidence Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur.
