Valida Dallaire

Valida Dallaire, 82, of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Wednesday November 8, 2023. She was married to the late Paul Dallaire (2008). Born in Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and the late Délia (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Valida was a primary school teacher in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent for numerous years.
She will be sadly missed by her three sons; Reginald (Nancy), Marcel (Jeannita) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Gilles (Nathalie) of Saint-Antoine, her four grandchildren; Venessa, Mireille, Nicholas and Monica. She also leaves to mourn her sister; Eva Richard (late Arthur) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, her three brothers: Oscar (Anna), Guillaume (late Phyllis) of Bouctouche, Arthur (Diana) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two brothers; Cleo (Évéline) and Donald (Alvina).
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Thursday November 16, 2023 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Friday November 17, from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Church on Friday November 17, 2023 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Valida’s memory, donations may be made to the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent parish fund.
