Ovila Cormier

Ovila Cormier, 81, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Hospice Sud-Est Albert House, Moncton on Thursday October 26, 2023. He was married to Georgina (Maillet) Cormier. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Adélard and the late Elise (Collette) Cormier.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Georgina, his three children; Dorine Cormier, Monique Cormier (Jean-Marc) of Saint-Gregoire, Hubert (Joan) of Dixon Point, his four grandchildren; Mélanie, Mona, Krissy, Joey and two great grandchildren; Jax and Jayden. He also leaves to mourn one brother; Cédric (Stella) of Shediac and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one son Conrad, three sisters; Rita, Flovila and Anita as well as two brothers; Noël and Albert.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church slumber Room, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Tuesday October 31 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm, A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Church on Tuesday October 31, 2023 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
