Tina Arsenault-Poirier

Tina Arsenault-Poirier, 57, of Dieppe and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Maison Albert, Moncton, on Friday October 20, 2023. She was married to Victor Poirier. Born in Saint-John, she was the daughter of Rhéal and Thérèse( Dionne) Arsenault.
Tina was a dedicated teacher; she had a positive influence in hundreds of children’s lives. Teaching for her was more than a job it was a vocation.
She will be sadly missed by her parents, Rhéal and Thérèse, her spouse, Victor, her children: Chanelle Dugas (Remi) of Dieppe, Stéphane (Lynn) of Calgary, AB, her grandchildren: Isaac and Inès, her step-daughter, Jennifer LeBlanc of Moncton, her sisters: Charlene Maillet (Marc) of Saint-Thomas, Lisa Arsenault (Gilles) of Bouctouche and several nieces, nephews, aunts , uncles and cousins.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’ Eglise, Bouctouche, on Wednesday November 1st, 2023 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Thursday from 1:00pm to 3:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, on Thursday November 2, 2023 at 4:00pm.
In Tina’s memory a donation can be made to Maison Albert House, Moncton or to the family.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Albert House, the Georges-L-Dumont oncology center, the staff of the Extra-Mural program and Dr Robyn Comeau, Dr Joel Gray, Dr Lise Langis for the excellent care they provided to Tina.
