Jeanne LeBlanc

Jeanne LeBlanc, 94, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste, on Friday September 1, 2023. She was married to the late Alcide LeBlanc (her second marriage) and the late Aurèle Despres (first marriage). Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and the late Cécile (Bastarache) Léger.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Linda Allain (Eloi) of Bedec, Ginette Richard (late Charly) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Denise Babineau (Jean-Claude) , Cécile Bastarache (Gerard), both of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, Bernadette Melanson (Gerald) of Bouctouche, her grandchildren: Elie, Alvin, Charline, Nadine, Melanie, Sylvette ,Sylvie and her great grandchildren: Julien, Miguel, Ashley, Josée, Maxime and Madeleine. She also leaves to mourn her sister, Rose-Mai LeBlanc of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, her brothers: Alvin of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, Antoine (Aline) of Bouctouche, Irois of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Lélice of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent and several nieces and nephews.
Jeanne was predeceased by one sister, Donalda and two brothers: Emery and Jimmy.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’Eglise, Bouctouche, on Tuesday September 5, 2023, from 2 to 4 and from 5:30 to 6:45pm. The funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, on Tuesday September 5, 2023 at 7:00pm.
In Jeanne’s memory a donation can be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste or to the Bouctouche Parish.
