Joseph Saulnier
Joseph Saulnier of McKees Mills, NB passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday May 13, 2023. Born in Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Joseph Saulnier and the late Ida LeBlanc.
Joseph was a devoted family man and loved his wife, children and grandchildren with all his heart and soul. He was a hardworking and gifted master carpenter, jack of all trades and an amazing MacGyver. He was quick witted and loved making people laugh with his great sense of humor. He was a passionate story teller, captivating us with his smile, laughter and enthusiasm. He loved nature and the great outdoors, especially feeding and watching the birds, farming, gardening and exploring with his four wheeler, truck and driving his lawn mower while listening to his favorite music. Joseph enjoyed cutting his own wood and playing cards at the Club D’age D’or.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Berthe Saulnier and three children: Joey Saulnier (Jeannette Bastarache) of McKees Mills, Maria Orchard (Andrew) of Ottawa, Bernadette Robichaud (Will) of Boundary Creek and six grandchildren: Robby Robichaud of Moncton, Jewel Tucker (Tim) of Riverview, Cody and Michael Jenkins of Ottawa, Jordan Headley-Orchard of Ottawa and Taya Thibeault (Dylan) of Longsault.
He also leaves to mourn his three brothers: Gerard (Benita), Gerald (Annette), Laurie (Andrea) and five sisters; Laura Cormier, Stella LeBlanc, Jeannine Allain, Maria LeBlanc, Dianna Cormier (Normand).Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his granddaughter Jule Bethany Robichaud, his brothers: Willie Saulnier, Joseph Saulnier the first, Alphée Saulnier, Arthur Sonier, Jean-Paul Saulnier and Ronald Saulnier and his sisters: Elda Saulnier, Madeline LeBlanc, Marie LeBlanc and Irene Cormier.
Your love, laughter and stories will continue to live on in our hearts forever.
There will be no funeral services as per his wishes.
