Jean «Jack» Despres
1936-2023
Jean «Jack» Despres, 86, of Cocagne, passed away peacefully,
surrounded by his family, on Monday February 20, 2023 at the Stella
Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent. He was married to
Rose-Mai (Despres) Despres. Born in Cocagne, he was the son of the
late Maxime and the late Agnes (Melanson) Despres.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Rose-Mai, his two sisters; Jeannita DesRoches of Cocagne and Aldéa LeBlanc (Joseph) of Fort Fairfield, ME and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one sister; Rita and two brothers; Ulysse and Eddie.
As per Jack’s wishes, there will be no visitations and no funeral service. Interment will be in the Cocagne parish cemetery in the spring.
Arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
