Alvin Cormier

Alvin Cormier, 90, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Foyer Saint-Antoine, on Tuesday November 22, 2022. He was married to the late Florence (Collette) Cormier (2018). Born in Saint-Damien, he was the son of the late Albert and the late Laudia (LeBlanc) Cormier.
Alvin was a snow plow operator for several years.
He will be sadly missed by his four children; Lisa Cormier-Landry (Martial), Christine Cormier of Saint-Damien, Eugère (Yvonne) and Clarence (Yvette) of Saint-Antoine, his four grandchildren; Stephane, Nicole, Daniel and Jolyne as well as four great grandchildren; Chelsea, Ariel, Yann and Emma. He also leaves to mourn one sister; Yvonniste Pellerin of Saint-Antoine and one brother; Jules (Bernice) of Leominster, MA as well as several nephews and nieces.
Alvin was predeceased by one daughter; Jeanne (2021), one sister; Elsie and four brothers; Prémélite, Calixte, Valmond and Pius.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Friday November 25, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:45 am. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Antoine Church on Saturday November 26, 2022 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
