Alberte Bourgeois

Alberte Bourgeois, 80, of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, on Thursday October 27, 2022. She was married to the late Alfred Bourgeois. Born in Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Alice (LeBlanc) Bastarache.
Alberte was a generous and loving person; she devoted her life to her family. She faced the many challenges in her life with grace and dignity.
She will be sadly missed by her children; Diane, Ronald (Bernice) both of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, and her grandson, Zacharie (Jasmine). She also leaves to mourn her sisters; Rita Allain (Jean-Paul), Corinne Jaillet (Léonard), her brother, Gérard (Cécile) all of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent and several nieces and nephews.
Alberte was predeceased by one son, Léo (2022), sisters; Lydia, Anne-Marie, Eveline and one brother, Ronald.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche, on Wednesday November 2, 2022, from 6 to 8pm followed by the Service at 8:00pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In Alberte’s memory a donation can be made to the Phare des Services Communautaires.
