Claudette Richard

Claudette Richard, 77, of Pointe-Sapin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Dr Georges-L. Dumont UHC, Moncton on Wednesday August 3, 2022. She was married to the late Maurice Richard (2016). Born in Pointe-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Mélinda (Mazerolle) Roy.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law; Elena Rousselle of Bouctouche, her two granddaughters; Eva and Pascale. She also leaves to mourn one sister; Diana Richard (late Benoit) of Pointe-Sapin, one brother; Esmond Roy of Pointe-Sapin as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one son Daniel (2021) and three brothers; Claude, Sylvio and Rhéal.
Visitations will be held at the Pointe-Sapin Community Centre on Monday August 8, 2022 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Tuesday August 9, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin on Tuesday August 9, 2022 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
The family would like to say a very special thank you to the Doctors and staff of the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital and also to the Extra Murals for their wonderful care of Claudette.
In Claudette’s memory, donations may be made to the Pointe-Sapin parish funds.
