Roseline Babineau
Roseline Babineau, 98, of Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Richibouctou-Village, passed away peacefully at the Manoir on Tuesday June 14, 2022. She was married to the late Émile Babineau (2004). Born in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Simon and the late Marie (Johnson) Daigle.
Roseline was a retired elementary school teacher.
She will be sadly missed by her four daughters; Rose-Éva Nowlan (Emerile) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Anne-Marie Robichaud (Eddie) of Gatineau, QC, Alice Maillet (Guy) and Cécile Landry (Raymond) of Dieppe, her eleven grandchildren; Claude Nowlan (Gisèle), Denise Nowlan, André Nowlan (Martine Melanson), Anne Nowlan Roy (Roland), Jean-Marc Robichaud (Mylène Boileau), Yves Robichaud (Josée Fournier), Claude Robichaud (Denise Desjardins), Nicole Maillet McKenna (Dave), Monique Maillet Corneau (Jonathan), Charles and Angèle Landry, her twenty-six great grandchildren ; Keith and Alison Nowlan; Erika Nowlan and Roch Maillet; Nathalie, Emilie, Maxime, Lucas, Emma and Claudie Nowlan; Justin and Miguel Roy; Amélie, Vincent, Alexandre, Mathis, Tristan, Lucie and Emile Robichaud; Carmen and Michaela McKenna; Sophia and Samuel Corneau; Alfred, Zola and Louis Landry, as well as four great great grandchildren; Ryan Nowlan LeBlanc, Hailey Martin, Annabelle Hébert and Liam Nowlan. She also leaves to mourn one sister; Imelda Daigle (late Lionel Raymond) of Châteauguay, QC one sister-in-law; Rita Daigle (late Arsene) of Saint-Louis as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one son Camille (1948), one sister; Irène (2016) (late Firmin Nowlan), three brothers; Émile (1947), Fidèle (2012) (late Thérèse), Arsène (2012), three half-sisters; Yvonne (2003) (late François Richard), Ludivine (2004) (late Émile Richard), Marguerite (2004) (late Maxime Poirier), one adopted sister; Léa (2002) (late Louis-Émile Gallant), as well as two half-brothers; Joseph (1999) (late Éveline) and Nazaire (1995) (late Nora).
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village on Sunday June 19, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 and on Monday from 9:00 to 10:15 am. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Richibouctou-Village Church on Monday June 20, 2022 at 10:30 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
FACE MASKS ARE MANDATORY FOR THE VISITATIONS AND FOR GOING IN THE CHURCH.
In Roseline’s memory, donations may be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche or to the Richibouctou-Village Parish Cemetery Fund.
