Noel Maillet

Noel Maillet, 73, of Renauds Mills, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the UHC Dr Georges-L. Dumont, Moncton on Thursday May 26, 2022. He was married to Majella (Léger) Maillet. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of Irène (LeBlanc) Maillet of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent and the late Gerard Maillet (2000).
Noel was an avid puzzle maker, he loved going on four wheeler, camping and he always had his best four legged friend by his side; his trusted Abby.
He will be sorely missed by his wife Majella, his mother Irene, his son; Gary (Sylvie) of Dieppe, his two grandchildren; Tyler and Amanda. He also leaves to mourn his two sisters; Bernadette Williams (Paul) of Saint-Antoine, Annette Smiley (Mike) of Shediac, his three brothers; Irenée, Louis-Gerard (late Joanne) of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, Rhéal (Francine) of Saint-Antoine, his mother-in-law; Georgeline Léger of Saint-Antoine and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his father-in-law; Yvon Léger (2011).
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Tuesday May 31, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Antoine Church, on Tuesday May 31, 2022 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
FACE MASK IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THE VISITATION AT THE CHURCH.
In Noel’s memory, donations may be made to the Saint-Antoine parish fund or to the SPCA Moncton.
The family wishes to say a special thank you to Dr Remi LeBlanc and as well as Murielle and Diane of the Virtual Hospital for the wonderful care.
