Ronald «Ronnie» Caissie
1942-2022
Ronald «Ronnie» Caissie, 79, of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent and
formerly of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de
Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Tuesday January 11, 2022. He
was married to Aurella (Allain) Caissie for 55 years. Born in
Richiboucto-Village, he was the son of the late Adelard and the late
Emerise (Allain) Caissie.
Ronnie was the founder and owner of Ronnie’s Auto Body, in Bouctouche for 36 years before his retirement. Ronnie was a member of the Bouctouche Rotary Club. His favorite hobbies were going snowmobiling as well as going on outings on his motorcycle with family and friends.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Aurella, his three children; Ron Jr. (Ginette Theriault) of Dieppe, Timmy (Josette Maillet) of Bouctouche, Sonya (Billy Boucher) of Burlington, ON, his six grandchildren; Mylene, Veronique, Zacharie, Marik, Annika, and Aidrik. He also leaves to mourn his sister; Jeannette Robichaud (Ellery) of Moncton, his seven brothers; Roger (Huberte) of Bouctouche, Bernard (Aline), André (Thérèse) of Moncton, Raymond, Laurent (Claudette) of Richiboucto-Village, Jean-Guy of Montreal, Léon (Jocelyne) of Shediac, one brother-in-law; Norman Richard of Dieppe, two sisters-in-law; Alice Caissie of Saint-Antoine, Alice Caissie of Dieppe and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by three brothers; Baby Gerard, Roméo and Edouard as well as one sister Marie.
Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church on Friday February 18 2022 at 3:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
PROOF OF VACCINATION, ID AND FACE MASK ARE MANDATORY AT THE CHURCH AS PER THE PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES.
In Ronnie's memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT Foundaton.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
