Raymond Bastarache

Raymond Bastarache, 71, of Bouctouche Cove, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the UHC Dr Georges-L. Dumont, Moncton on Friday January 7, 2022. He was married to Pauline (LeBlanc) Bastarache. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of Jeanne (LeBlanc) Bastarache of Saint-Maurice and the late François Bastarache.
Raymond will be sadly missed by his wife Pauline, his mother Jeanne Bastarache, his two children; Lyne Bastarache of Saint-Antoine and Gilles (Pierrette) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent as well as three grandchildren; Vincent, Felipe and Jaxon. He also leaves to mourn his two brothers; Roger (late Lucille) of Bouctouche and Rosario (Simonne) of Saint-Maurice and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one brother; Paul-Emile.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29, rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday January 13, 2022 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Thursday January 13, 2022 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
PROOF OF VACCINATIONS, ID AND FACE MASK ARE MANDATORY AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND AT THE CHURCH AS PER THE PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES.
