Albéo LeBlanc
Albéo LeBlanc, 74, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche on Thursday December 30, 2021. He was married to Léonie (Richard) LeBlanc. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Lionel and the late Joséphine (Robichaud) LeBlanc.
Albéo was very well known in the community for his involvement in several organizations, especially the Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce which was very dear to him. He also helped out numerous people whether by finding work for them, or monetary donations or any other way he could help.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Léonie, his two daughters; Charline Maillet (Guy) and Diane Caissie (Rhéal) of Bouctouche, his five grandchildren; Chanelle, Christelle, Danika, Sylvain and Ghislain as well as five great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his five sisters; Dora Despres (Paul-Emile) of Cormierville, Victorine Maillet, Dorilla LeBlanc (Gerard) of Saint-Thomas-de-Kent, Aline Cormier (Georges) of Dixon Point, Bernadette Caissie (Daniel) of Moncton, his three brothers; Noël of Moncton, Omer (Jeannine) of Bouctouche, Jean-Paul (Shirley) of Sussex and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by four brothers; Alfred, Laurie, Donald and Baby Emery.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday January 5, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday January 5, 2022 at 3:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
PROOF OF VACCINATIONS, ID AND FACE MASK ARE MANDATORY AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND AT THE CHURCH AS PER THE PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES.
In Albéo’s memory, donations may be made to the Parkinson Association or to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche.
