Raymonde Robichaud
1950-2021
Raymonde Robichaud, 71, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, and formerly of
Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the UHC Dr Georges-L. Dumont,
Moncton on Friday December 24, 2021. Born in Caraquet, she was the
daughter of the late Jean and the late Lina (Cormier) Robichaud.
Raymonde will be sadly missed by her partner Alfred Cormier of Bouctouche, her daughter Madeleine Blanchard (Kristopher) of Indian Mountain, her grandson Léopold. She also leaves her sister Denise Robichaud of Caraquet, her three brothers: Roger (Marie-Marthe) of Bathurst, Michel (Marjolaine) and Jean-Guy (Annette) of Caraquet, as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one grandson William.
Raymonde lived many years in Moncton where she raised her daughter and worked at Radio-Canada Acadie. After retiring, she moved to Bouctouche where she lived many peaceful years with her partner. She loved the area for the kindness of its people and the beauty of its scenery.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Auberge du Soleil in Dieppe as well as the staff of the George Dumont Hospital for their care and kind support.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Monday January 3, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday January 3, 2022 at 3:30 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
PROOF OF VACCINATIONS, ID AND FACE MASK ARE MANDATORY AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND AT THE CHURCH AS PER THE PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES.
