Ida LeBlanc
Ida LeBlanc, 92, of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at home on Friday September 3, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was married to the late Léo LeBlanc (1990). Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Willie and the late Lydie (LeBlanc) Boucher.
She will be sadly missed by her children; Edouard (Marie-Paul), Gérard (Marie-Mai), Laurise (Jean-Eudes), Noël (Brenda), Rita, Yvon (Lilliane), Jean-Paul (Dorilla), Roger (Rose), Yvonne (Irois), Emerie (Lucie), Raymond (Gisèle), André (Géraldine), eighteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her sisters; Léola Arsenault (Ronald) of Hudson, MA, Irène Robichaud (Ronald) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Yvonne Richard (Ulysse) of Natick, MA, Doris Bowles (Pat) of Hudson, MA, Marie Robichaud (Bob) of Holden, MA, her brothers; Norman (Anne) of Holliday, FL, Léo of Truro, N-S, her sisters-in-law, Marie Allain, Sr Géraldine (ndsc), her brother-in-law, Joseph and several nieces and nephews.
Ida was predeceased by two brothers; Joe (2018), George (2020) and her son-in-law, Peter (1995).
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’Eglise, Bouctouche, on Tuesday September 7, 2021 from 2 to 3:45pm, followed by the Funeral Mass at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church at 4:00pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Face mask are required at the Funeral Home.
In Ida’s memory a donation can be made to the Parish of Bouctouche or to the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Extra-Mural and her daughter-in-law, Lucie for the excellent care provided to their mother.
