Aldéric F. LeBlanc
Aldéric LeBlanc, 101, of Bouctouche passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Sunday February 21, 2021. He was married to Adèle (Poirier) LeBlanc. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Francois and the late Emma (Savoie) LeBlanc.
Aldéric was a very well-known carpenter in the region and elsewhere. During the 2nd World War, from 1941 to 1944, he was stationed at Petawawa, ON and was very proud of it.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Adèle, his children; Guy (Phyllis), Olive Hébert (Paul-Emile), Viola Léger (Bernard), Murielle Savoie (Rhéal), Oriza Léger (Léon), Carmella Albert (John), Léo-Paul (Nicole), Gloria LeBlanc (Henri), Marie-Mai Hébert (Claude), sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
He also leaves to mourn his sisters; Alice Arsenault of Leominster, Mass, Anita Babineau of Ontario and several nieces and nephews.
Aldéric was predeceased by four sisters: Anna, Laura, Modeste, Adèle and four brothers; Eugene, Louis, Fred and Eddy.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, private visitations and funeral will be held at a later date, Interment will be in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste cemetery Bouctouche.
In Aldéric’s memory a donation can be made to the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital or to the donor’s choice.
