Rita Cormier
1923-2021
Rita Cormier, 97, of Presque Isle, Maine and formerly of
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at her residence on
Monday January 25, 2021. She was married to the late Olivier Cormier
(2003). Born in Gardner, MA, she was the daughter of the late
Alphée and the late Marie (Robichaud) Cormier.
Rita will be sadly missed by her two children: Doris Mason (Bruce) of Presque Isle, Me, Clarence of Westfield, MA and her five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Rita ran a special care home in the Bouctouche area for a number of years.
At the request of Mrs Cormier and her family, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place in the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Roman Catholic parish cemetery in the spring.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
