Josef Feisst

Josef Feisst, 91, of Saint-Maurice, passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital on Thursday September 3, 2020. Born in Hofweiher, Germany, he was the son of the late Wilhelm and Theresia Feisst.
He will be sadly missed by his children; Gerold (Rosemarie) of Saint-Maurice, Edmund (Rosjana), Bernadette (Ralph), both of Germany, his grandchildren; Nicole (Jules), Jennifer (Mark), Jurgen, Niklas, Celine, Joey, his great grandchildren; Charlotte, Lucie, Marianne and Claire. He also leaves to mourn his brothers; Edmund and Herbert, a sister-in-law, Hilde and several nieces and nephews.
Josef was predeceased by brothers; Franz and Konrad, sister, Anna and his partner Edith Lacoste.
Private visitations and the funeral service will be held at a later date, in line with Covid-19 public health guidelines.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr Lise Langis, the Extra-Mural staff and the nurses at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital for the excellent care provided to Josef.
In Josef’s memory a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
