Hilaire Bastarache

Hilaire Bastarache, 92, of Bouctouche, passed away at his residence on Saturday May 23, 2020. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Maxime and the late Hélène (Nowlan) Bastarache.
He will be sadly missed by his five children; Maria Bastarache-LeBlanc (Yvon), Marie-Thérèse Richard (Daniel) of Bouctouche, Marielle Surette (André) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Maurice (Teresa) of Dieppe, Mark (Nancy) of Campbellton, the mother of his children; Sophie Nowlan, his twelve grandchildren; Jason, Gabriel, Mathieu, Felicia, Rachelle, Josée, Annie-Lyne, Pierre, Isabelle, Maxime, Joshua, Thomas and one great granddaughter; Marissa. He also leaves to mourn one sister Yvonne Bastarache of Montreal, as well as several nephews and nieces.
A private funeral service was held at Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche on Wednesday May 27, 2020 in accordance with public health. Iinterment will be in the parish cemetery.
