Olive mills
1933-2020
Olive Mills, 86, of Foyer Saint-Antoine and formerly of Bouctouche,
passed away peacefully at the Foyer Saint-Antoine on Thursday May 7,
2020. She was married to the late Alyre Mills (2014). Born in
Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Célestin and the
late Phébie (Boucher) Richard.
Olive was a member of the order of the congregation Sainte-Famille Mère Marie Léonie for one year before leaving the order to get married and raise her family.
She will be sadly missed by her four daughters; Suzanne Caissie (Maurice) of Grande-Digue, Diane Duffy (late Stephen) of Bouctouche, Maria Poirier (Edouard), Linda Mills of Saint-Antoine, nine grandchildren; Jason, Christine, John, Stephanie, Luc, Julie, Nicole, Melissa, Jeramie and ten great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her five sisters; Zita LeBlanc (France) of Rogersville, Annie LeBlanc of Moncton, Régina Chevarie of Shediac, Auréa LeBlanc (Ron) of Shediac, Aldéa Richard of Salisbury as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by three sisters; Annise, Julienne, Vianna and one brother Zoël.
There will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be held at a later date due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
