Yvonne LeBlanc

Yvonne LeBlanc, 96, of Bouctouche Cove, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, on Sunday February 23, 2020. She was married to the late Edgar LeBlanc (1989). Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Joseph «Joe» and the late Marguerite «Maggie» (Bastarache) Collette.
Yvonne was a devoted catholic who believed in prayers and a hard worker all of her life. She was also a volunteer at the Bouctouche Golden Age Club for numerous years.
She will be sadly missed by her children; Pauline Bastarache (Raymond), Diane Jaillet (Norman), Rose-Monde LeBlanc (Marc) all of Bouctouche Cove, Cécile Savoie (Roger) of Saint-Antoine, Bernice Léger (Olin) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Paul (Simonne) of Saint-Antoine, Claude (Nancy) of Bouctouche Cove, her nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She also leaves to mourn her sisters; Aldéa Collette (Néri) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Marguerite LeBlanc of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, her brothers; Antoine (Donalda) of Bouctouche, Gérard (Alfreda) of Dieppe and several nieces and nephews.
Yvonne was predeceased by two sisters; Julienne, Bella and five brothers; Hector, Fred, Elzéar, André and Edouard.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche, on Tuesday February 25, 2020 from 7 to 9pm and on Wednesday from 1 to 3:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday February 26,2020 at 4:00pm.
In Yvonne’s memory a donation can be made to the Friends of the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital.
