Thérèse Boucher

Thérèse Boucher, 93, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Saint-Paul, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Manoir on Saturday February 1, 2020. She was married to the late Théophile Boucher (2004). Born in Saint-Norbert, she was the daughter of the late Charles and the late Edna (Robichaud) Babineau.
Thérèse was owner/operator of a private home care residence in Saint-Paul for several years. She was also a former Saint John Ambulance Volunteer in Saint-Paul, and was a recipient of a Merit Award.
She will be dearly missed by her seven children; Aline Léger (Antoine) of Saint-Gregoire, Lucille Gaudet, and Yvonne Breau of Saint-Antoine, Donald, Aurèle (Kelly) of Saint-Paul, Louis (Murielle) of Cocagne, Jean-Maurice (Monique) of Saint-Norbert, her fourteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn four sisters; Ella Gaudet of Bouctouche, Armande Lambert of Longueil, QC, Eleonore Mirabito of Maynard, MA, Irène LeBlanc of Notre-Dame, her three brothers; Noé (Annette) of Bouctouche, Laurie (Claire) of Leominster, MA, Jean-Paul (Lyda) of Chéticamp, NS as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased one daughter Rita, two grandsons; Robert and Bobby, six sisters; Jeanne, Marguerite, Suzanne, Elise, Lorraine and Marie as well as two brothers; Joseph and Emile.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday February 5, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday February 5, 2020 at 7:00 pm with interment in the Saint-Norbert de Kent parish cemetery in the spring.
