Léona LeBlanc
1932-2020
Léona LeBlanc, 87, of Residence Au Benaise, Saint-Antoine, passed
away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday January 31, 2020
at the UHC Dr Georges-L. Dumont, Moncton. She was married to the late
Emery LeBlanc (1981). Born in Saint-Antoine, she was the daughter of
the late Hector and the late Eva (Poirier) LeBlanc.
She will be sadly missed by her eleven children; Yvette Caissie (Joe), Simonne Caissie (Guy), Mai Arsenault (Denis) of Grande-Digue, Emerise Nowlan (Robert) of Moncton, Paul (Emy) of Notre-Dame, Ronald (Blanche), Léon (Phyllis), Léo of Saint-Antoine, Bernard (Jeannine) of Bouctouche, Maurice of Richiboucto and Yvon (Huberte) of Moncton, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn to mourn three sisters; Thérèse Cormier (Ulysse), Noella Gallant (Richard) of Gardner, MA, Aline Gallant of Grande-Digue and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one sister; Ida as well as one brothers; Evariste.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Monday February 3, 2020 from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Antoine Church on Tuesday February 4, 2020 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Léona’s memory, donations may be made to the Parkinson NB Association.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
