Delphine Duplessis
Delphine Duplessis, 96, of Foyer Saint-Antoine, and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Foyer on Sunday July 14, 2019. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Hélène (LeBlanc) Duplessis.
She was a pharmaceutical clerk at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent for 25 years. Delphine's faith included various church ministries. She loved travelling; her special voyage was visiting the Vatican, Lourdes and Israel. Throughout her lifetime, she touched many hearts, she will be remembered as a very special person, with her sincere kindness she was always being humble, and her simple pleasure in life was reading and listening to classical music.
She will be sadly missed by her three sisters; Patricia Goldberg of Bouctouche,Fernande Vantessel of Moncton, Gladys Robichaud (Lambert) of Bathurst, her one brother; Jacques (Rita) of Bouctouche as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by three sisters; Dorothy, Devina, Sr Thérèse Duplessis hsj, and four brothers; Robert, Vincent, Wilfred and Bernard.
A private funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later date. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff and the doctors of the Foyer Saint-Antoine for the wonderful care given to Delphine during her stay with them.
