It is with profound sadness that we announce the accidental passing of Jean-Guy Boudreau, 28, of Saint-Antoine, on Saturday June 22, 2019. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Jean-Luc and Lucille (LeBlanc) Boudreau.
Jean-Guy was the Manager of the Higho Music Store. He was a talented musician, playing with the groups Dirt Road and Andy Bast.
He will be deeply missed by his parents, Jean-Luc and Lucille, his common-law partner, Karine Lagacé, his sister, Julie Boudreau (Marcel Poirier) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, his brother, Rémi (Julie Parent Boudreau) of Dieppe, his paternal grandparents, Francis Fournier and Alfreda Boudreau-Fournier of Pointe-Verte. He also leaves to mourn his aunt, Carmen Gallant of Shediac, his uncles; Louis (Denise) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Victor (Theresa) of Monroe Louisiana, Claude (Vera), Denis (Murielle) both of Saint-Antoine and several cousins. Jean-Guy had many friends, musicians he played with and those he met through his work. Everyone who knew him is affected by his sudden passing.
Jean-Guy was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Alphonse and Lucie LeBlanc and his paternal grandfather, Jean-Guy Boudreau.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, in Saint-Antoine, on Wednesday June 26, 2019 from 7 to 9pm and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and from 5:30 to 6:45pm.The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Church on Thursday June 27, 2019 at 7:00pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Jean-Guy a donation can be made to the Clement-Cormier Bursary Fund (Music).
