Gilles McDonald

Gilles McDonald, 59, of Bouctouche, passed away accidentally, on Tuesday June 18, 2019. He was married to Dianne (Cormier) McDonald. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of Ronald and Jeannita (Saulnier) McDonald.
Gilles was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a heavy equipment operator, machines and heavy equipment were his passion.
He will be sadly missed by his parents, Ronald and Jeannita, his loving wife of 40 years, Dianne, his daughters; Sylvie Boucher (Ricky), Monique Melanson (Jean-Pierre), both of Notre-Dame, his grandchildren; Patrick, Yanick, Shawn and Rémi. He also leaves to mourn, his sister, Diane McDonald, his brother, Charles (Marie-Mai) both of Bouctouche, his godchildren; Lynn, Carole, Marcel, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’Église, Bouctouche, on Friday June 21, 2019 from 2 to 4 and from 5:30 to 6:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church on Friday June 21, 2019 at 7:00pm.
In Gilles memory a donation can be made to the CHU Dumont Foundation or to the Clement-Cormier Bursary Fund.
