Ginette Bastarache

Ginette Bastarache, 59, of Saint-Maurice, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Thursday June 6, 2019. She was married to Charles Bastarache. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of Clara (Albert) Maillet of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent and the late Ulysse Maillet.
She will be dearly missed by her husband Charles, her mother Clara Maillet, her sister Mai Jaillet (Léo) of Dieppe, her four brothers; Alonzo (Lorraine), Gilles (Louise), Jean-Guy (Gisèle) all of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent and Léo (Denise) of Dieppe as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her son René (2006) and a brother Victor (1988).
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Tuesday June 11, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Church on Tuesday June 11, 2019 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Ginette’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT Foundation (Oncology Department)
