Emery Allain
1936-2019
Emery Allain, 82, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by
his family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent,
on Wednesday January 30, 2019. He was married to the late Bertha
(Cormier) Allain (2000). Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the
late Alban and the late Hélène (Bastarache) Allain.
He will be sadly missed by his six children; Louise Caissie (Gary) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Joanne Bourque (Paul), Hélène Allain (Terry), Ella LeBlanc (Russell), Jean-Marie (Jeannine) and Emerie Jr. (Brenda) all of Bouctouche, fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn five sisters; Elizabeth Hébert (Lionel), Noëlla Nowlan (Léo-Paul), Léa Gallant, Gloria Allain of Bouctouche, Thérèse Léger (Fernand) of Cap-Pelé, one brother Yvon of Bouctouche, a special friend Jeannita LeBlanc of Bouctouche as well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one daughter Diane (1989) and three brothers; Roger, Donald and Léo-Paul.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday February 6, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Emery’s memory, donations may be made to the family.
