Anita Léger

Anita Léger, age 94, of Résidence au Benaise Inc., Saint-Antoine de Kent and formerly of Notre-Dame de Kent has passed away after a brief illness at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Friday, October 10th 2008, she was married to the late Amédée Léger. Born in Saint-Antoine de Kent on July 15th, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Adeline (Gosselin) Richard.

She is survived by two daughters; Lilianne Cormier (Laurie), Jeannita LeBlanc (Placide) both of Notre-Dame de Kent, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, six sisters; Cécile Richard, Alma Richard, Thérèse LeBlanc all of Saint-Antoine de Kent, Marie Cormier-Bourque (Claude) of Moncton, Flora Melanson of Notre-Dame de Kent, Florence Gosselin (Aimé) of Gardner, Mass., one brother; Zoël of Gardner, Mass, and several nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by three brothers; Joseph, Elzéar, Henri and four sisters; Edna, Yvonne, Aurelie, Lorette

Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic church slumber room, Notre-Dame de Kent on Monday, October 13th 2008 from 9 am to 10:45am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic church, Notre-Dame de Kent on Monday, October 13th at 11 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
